Hike To Heal

Release. Reconnect. Renew

Hike To Heal helps to reduce stress and anxiety, increase physical fitness and reconnect to nature.

Each journey provides the opportunity to contemplate and work through mental, emotional and energetic blocks, which prevent us from moving forward in our lives.

Reflection and release allow us to then integrate new intentions, and set a healthier tone for our lives going forward.

Reconnection With Nature Enables Reconnection With Ourselves

Hike To Heal is designed to help overcome stress and anxiety, by combining connection to our natural environment with meditation, mindfulness and a sense of community.

Each step of the journey is symbolic of what we are experiencing within us. As we connect to each of the elements, we begin to understand the connection between their characteristics and our own bodies, on a physical, emotional and energetic level.

Each journey is unique, and incorporates meditation and mindfulness to help us to release what is holding us back, or down, acknowledgement of ourselves in the present moment and integration of intention, fresh perspective and a healthier approach to our current situation and lives.

Each location is accessible to all levels of fitness and provides the inspiration of an idyllic natural backdrop, often combined with archeological and mythological elements and stories, to provoke further reflection and perspective.

Built on a holistic foundation of shamanic and sound therapy, combined with personal experience, Hike To Heal was initially a self-healing process I undertook to help combat stress and reconnect back to the magic of the Irish landscape after spending years working abroad.

Disconnection from the land and environment is a perfect breeding ground for disconnection with ourselves, which inevitably leads to stress, anxiety and feeling a sense of being “out of place” or “not belonging”.

Although we are living in a face-paced world of technology and modern comfort, our needs are still very much reflected in the changing seasons, and the land around us. Rebuilding our reconnection with the earth, enables us to reconnect on a more intuitive level with ourselves, which in turn creates the opportunity to build a healthier life balance.
